Mangiferin, also known as Zhimu Ning. Light grayish yellow needle crystal (50% ethanol). It has good curative effect for treating chronic bronchitis. It is the main active ingredient of Tibetan medicine Chen in the treatment of hepatitis and the antiviral active ingredient in the rhizome of Zhimu.

Central nervous system

Mangiferin is a natural antioxidant for scavenging free radicals and a natural radioprotectant.
