What is Hypericum Perforatum?
Hypericum Perforatum Extract, also called St. John's Wort Extract, is extracted from the overground part of Hypericum perforatum, including flowers, leaves and stems. Main active ingredient is hypericin.
The mechanism of hypericin is: Interfering with the synthesis of RNA and protein in dozens of links in the viral replication cycle, blocking the reproductive links such as virus integration, assembly and release, killing 100% avian influenza virus, and so on. In addition to activating the functions of mononuclear phagocytes, lymphocytes and T cells, hypericin has strong resistance to defects and improves immunity, and is the drug of choice for the prevention of bird flu.
