What is Epigallocatechin EGC?
Epigallocatechin is a polyphenolic compound extracted from natural green tea.Epigallocatechin, the most abundant flavonoid in green tea, binds unfolded polypeptides and prevents conversion to amyloid fibrils.
Green tea extract contains Epicatechin (EC),(-)-Epigallocatechin (EGC),(-)-Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG),(-)-Epicatechin gallate (ECG,(+)-Catechin Hydrate and L-Theanine.
Green tea is made from the new leaves or buds of the tea plant, without fermentation, through the process of killing, shaping, drying and so on. It retains the natural substances of fresh leaves and contains tea polyphenols, catechins, chlorophyll, caffeine, amino acids, vitamins and other nutrients.
