What is PQQ?
PQQ, the scientific name is pyrroloquinoline quinone, and it is called the fourteenth vitamin in the world medical community. PQQ is an oxidoreductase prosthetic group with a chemical formula of C14H6N2O8. The molecular structure of PQQ is extremely complex, and because of its unique biological activity, it has become a hot topic in the field of modern medicine and nutrition. Mechanism of PQQ on polycystic ovary syndrome
1. Antioxidant effect
PCOS patients are often accompanied by increased production of oxygen free radicals, leading to exacerbated oxidative stress. PQQ has powerful antioxidant activity, which can neutralize free radicals and reduce cell damage. Studies have shown that the antioxidant effect of PQQ may help improve oxidative stress in PCOS patients.

2. Hormone regulation
A major feature of PCOS is endocrine disturbance, with abnormal levels of estrogen and progesterone. Studies have found that PQQ has the potential to regulate endocrine, which can balance the secretion of estrogen and progesterone. This may help restore hormone balance and relieve symptoms in PCOS patients.
3. Inhibition of inflammation
Inflammation reactions often exist in the body of PCOS patients, and the production of inflammatory factors increases. PQQ was found to have anti-inflammatory activity, which can inhibit the production of inflammatory factors. This means that PQQ may be of some help in alleviating inflammation-related symptoms in PCOS patients.
